Religious Education

The goal of the Religious Education Formation Cluster is to develop the spiritual, moral and educational needs of our community.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)
The Initiation Ministry tries to provide a spiritual foundation for those who are sacramentally new to Catholic Christianity, including persons who have never been baptized; persons who were baptized in other denominations who now wish to become Catholic; baptized Catholics who never finished religous education and desire to complete the sacraments of initiation; Catholics who would like to learn more about their faith; and non-Catholics seeking a deeper understanding of the Catholic Church.

Religious Education
St. James Religious Education is open to children from the parish and neighborhood community. Through the provision of an ongoing catechetical program, St. James seeks to help young people discover their faith and put it into actions appropriate for their age.
