While I have seen some hand painted models it is a skill I have never been able to develop. Most really bang up jobs are done with airbrush. For that I would recommend a Paasche model "H". It is good, durable airbrush that is packaged with three different tips. It is cheaper than an Iwata, though some Hobby Lobby stores carry both and you can usually score one during Hobby Lobby's 40% of sales.
Unfortunately, the finished workbench doesn't fold completely flat. But the workbench does function as I desired: it's a sturdy, portable workbench that I can easily carry around the house or out into the back yard to exercise my woodworking prowess. Adding a few extra speed clamps and a portable carpenter's 6" vise, and I'm good to go (my first project was to make and attach two ¼" wooden facing pieces to that 6" carpenter's vise's metal jaws).
Are you familiar with the trucks which are built simply to be a moving bill board? Do they work? They would not exist if they did not work! How can you get attention, and display a large sign while riding your motorcycle? Find out! So how are you going to get a big sign on your motorcycle? First, you need a hitch. Find one on eBay for about $200. Or, check with your local motorcycle mechanic. Get the hitch on, and you're ready to tow!
Before starting this procedure, determine if your vehicle will lose radio codes, body computer information and other computer related parameters when the battery is disconnected. This is a good time to browse your owner's manual under battery replacement, search the internet, or contact your dealer. On some newer cars, this is not a matter of just losing your radio station presets but rather an issue that may require a tow to the dealer. To be safe purchase a device that plugs into your cigarette lighter and provides voltage while your battery is serviced. This unit is available at many auto parts suppliers. Be sure to close your vehicle doors while you use this device, you do not want to deplete its internal battery.
Two types of systems are available; grid-tie and stand alone. If the grid-tie is considered, make sure to determine if the wind or wind-solar system will function even if the utility power goes off. Some will still operate and some do not. I don't think I would want to spend thousands of dollars on an auxiliary wind or solar system for emergencies only to find that it would not generate electricity without the power grid up and running.
Second, "Time", I try to give myself all the time I need so as not to be rushed. This is extremely important. If you don't have enough time you will surely loose your focus, break a smooth routine and end with a bike half done. No doubt with an attitude that you wasted a great deal of time and you know your right you should have just jumped on that puppy and took off. Give yourself all the time you need and your whole world will turn easier. And when you do clean it your "good attitude" will go the distance. When you're done all that work will leave you with a sense that it wasn't so hard to do and doing it again won't be so bad. And don't forget to take breaks frequently, drink a little work a little, drink a little work a little you'll be amazed how quickly you get finished and how much better you'll feel.
