I will assume the breakfast nook is on our left. 1st. 1 inch bull nose tile then next 12 3/8 inches is 4 tiles you can multiply how many to cover behind the stove and the remainder of the wall. Cut pieces in the corner For simplicity your cuts should leave a tile 1 inch or larger. Note: Other tile sizes will work 6x6 are not really 6 inches that's why we measure. But each change here makes a difference in the final look. 4x by 4's can make a long wall look busy with grout seams. Choose wisely. Most people use graph paper to lay out where all the tile go. This is especially important if you plan a decorative tile over the stove in that larger space before the hood.
For the beer lover, the obvious choice is a kegerator. If you cannot afford a kegerator, then the next best thing is a set of Pilsner glasses and the largest pack of his favorite beer you are willing to splurge on. It will be a hit and you will be rewarded with many thanks. Likewise for the wine lover, a simple but nice wine rack filled with wine will be wildly appreciated. Many stores offer a 10% discount if you purchase 6 bottles or more, so purchase a wide selection for him to enjoy.
Wind generators can be tower mounted or mounted to the roof of a building, as a house, shed or barn. Using a tower mount is the most expensive but puts less wear and tear on a roof. Probably, depending on the type, the roof wear would not amount to the several thousand dollars extra invested in a tower. Also location of the buildings, wind speed and trees, etc will help determine where to place the generator. A wind speed test will need to be preformed before the exact location is found.
I finally decided on these metal shelves from Target. The brand is Room Essentials and they come in different widths and numbers of shelves and are also available in black. I purchased the wide three self system in chrome. I also added the industrial 4 inch casters. The shelves require no tools to assemble and the casters screw directly in to the bottom of the legs. Each shelf is rated to hold more than 300 pounds. I also bought a roll of shelf lining for the bottom two shelves. The shelves are modular so I can add additional units later if I want. Target has all of this together in one location in the store so it was a one stop shopping kind of thing. The total cost for the shelves and liner was right at $60.
Crates are forklift-maneuverable plywood boxes constructed by either the shipper or appropriate local crating service or even purchased from a vendor of pre-assembled crates. Crating is frequently necessary for furniture like sofas and couches and is a logical practice in order to protect any bulky or delicate items during the shipping process. Open crates are sometimes used as well, which is a box of wood framed around the item(s) on the pallet instead of completely enclosed in plywood as with a normal crate. Further, the crate's contents more than likely need to be secured or strapped down inside as well.
